Work in progress. This exploration started with a simple question: how much detail can an image lose and still be visible? Using TouchDesigner, I began translating high-resolution visuals into ASCII patterns — a system of letters, numbers and symbols that transforms precision into texture.
There is something fascinating about watching clarity dissolve into a rhythmical code. The perfect, polished surface of digital imagery becomes fragmented and fragile. It’s a dialogue between complexity and simplicity; between the overwhelming resolution of our tools, and the beauty of their limitations
